Industrial Visits has been arranged for enriching the practical knowledge of the students. In II year level, they should have the knowledge about power generation, transmission and distribution. By keeping this in mind, this trip has been arranged for the students. In APTRANSCO, 132/33 KV substation, students clearly understands that how power has been transformed from 132 KV to 33 KV. They understand the operation of the transformer. And from the substation, how power is distributed to industries and houses. Power level requirement has been understood. And students also have knowledge about the insulation requirement. Type of insulators, materials used for insulators, practically they have seen and understood the concepts where this practical experience will help a lot for them to understand the theoretical subjects.
