The industrial visit to Sarvaraya Sugars Ltd (Coca-Cola) at Gopalapuram on 24-08-2024 aimed to study Coca-Cola's production process, understand the technology and machinery used, observe the industry environment, learn automation concepts, and understand the company's operations and functions. Starting at 9:30 am from college, the team reached the plant by 10:05 am. At the security point, a Safety & Security Induction Program was conducted, emphasizing safety measures. Mobile phones and cameras were surrendered before proceeding. The HR Operations Head greeted the team, offered free product samples, and presented a video showcasing Coca-Cola’s $20,000 billion valuation, 38 manufacturing units in India (18 owned and 20 franchised), and dedicated water treatment facilities at every plant.
